Niema Architektura — ostrowski modernizm

SILENT ARCHITECTURE is an exhibition of architecture stripped of unnecessary detail and unnecessary ornament, which characterized modernist architecture. The sudden separation of architecture from the historical context has made its form no longer readable to the recipient. Over the years, this misunderstanding has led to the distance of modernity from its modernist foundations. The architecture began to recede, and urban fabric filled up with poor quality buildings crowned with Greek tympanum. The modern language of architecture has its origins in modernism. Without understanding, we will continue to use the ugly and mutilated language . The exhibition aims not only to show the value of architecture of the 20th century, but also to try to understand her, and maybe even to fascinate her. The exhibition was prepared by: an informal group archi B U N T by the Gallery of Contemporary Art and the Urban Library
