PROJECT
“All grown-ups were once children, but only a few of them remember it.” — Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
And what could be more childlike than a carefree, summer painting outdoors, especially on the wall of the newly renovated “Źróddełko” Public Kindergarten in Wielowieś? 😉 The name “Źróddełko” itself refers to a local legend, according to which, during the retreat of Napoleon’s troops, Napoleon himself supposedly stopped near Wielowieś and Małgorzatka Hill to water his horse. Hence, the mural features, among other things, the figure of the French Emperor himself and a white horse. The mural also includes motifs referencing the nearby Prosna River, whose picturesque face can be seen during kayaking trips organized here.
