PROJECT
Nearly a month of hard work, liters of paint, over 100 m and hundreds of brush strokes. This is the result of cooperation with the Milicz Commune – a mural with the image of our Polish Nobel Prize winner Wisława Szymborska, created on the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet. The leitmotif of the mural was a poem by Wisława Szymborska entitled “Forest Morality”. This poem refers to the beauty of the Barycz Valley, nature and picturesque ponds surrounding Milicz. And today, the ceremonial unveiling of the mural will feature Michał Rusinek, former secretary of Wisława Szymborska, currently the President of her Foundation, literary expert, translator, writer, habilitated doctor in humanities, professor at the Jagiellonian University.
