MEDIATEKA Przystanek Kultury. Wayfinding

MEDIATEKA Culture Spot. It’s a modern, fully interactive cultural center operating in such areas as science, technical culture, robotics, music, film, literature and art. The Wayfinding project for this facility is to inform and properly direct all visitors, but it also has an aesthetic function, complementing the interior design of the building created by architect Paulina Walkow. Vertical stripes, which decorate the outside of the windows and the inside of the window panes, resemble both a collection of books and piano keys. There are more musical references here. One of the parts of Mediateka is a fully professional recording studio — Komeda Studio. Its name refers to Krzysztof Komeda — the famous composer, whose life was connected with Ostrów Wielkopolski. His simplified portrait can be found in one of the icons and in the graphics on the wall of the recording studio.
