CAS Kolejarz

Last week, the newly established facility opened its doors CAS Kolejarz, i.e. the Kolejarz Social Activity Center located in Nowe Skalmierzyce. I had the pleasure of designing a logo for this facility, which was then replaced with a neon sign by a reliable company Arneon-Jacek Zamojski. CAS Kolejarz is a modern building housing, among others: Cultural Center, the GiM Nowe Skalmierzyce Public Library with workshops, the Senior Day Home, a scout club, offices for the NGO sector, the Chamber of Tradition, and the SOWA mini science center. The name of the facility refers to the old railway traditions and the rich history of the town of Nowe Skalmierzyce. It was here that a cross-border section connecting the former partitions was built over a hundred years ago, being part of the Warsaw-Kaliska Railway system. A reminder of those times is one of the most beautiful railway stations in Poland, a neo-Gothic building designed by Blunck, built in 1905-1906.
